Sublimation Printing

Sublimation printing is a method of decorating a product that involves the inks being absorbed into the product rather than sitting on the surface. First, graphics are printed using a special ink and paper that allow the image to sit on the surface of the page instead of being absorbed into it. These graphics are then pressed against a product and heated until the dye sublimates. At the same time, the product is heated to increase absorbancy. As the dye sublimates, the paper prevents it from seeping outward, allowing it to be absorbed into the heated product. The result is a high quality graphic that doesn't easily rub off your product.
